# Language

> Set the form language for button labels and validation messages.

# Language

Found under **Settings → Language** in the form builder.

## Locale Selection

Choose the language used for all auto-generated UI text:

* **Button labels**: Next, Previous, Submit
* **Validation messages**: "This field is required", "Please enter a valid email"
* **Navigation text**: Page numbers, progress indicators
* **End screen defaults**: "Thank you!" and success messages

### Supported Languages

| Code | Language   |
| ---- | ---------- |
| `en` | English    |
| `de` | Deutsch    |
| `fr` | Français   |
| `es` | Español    |
| `it` | Italiano   |
| `pt` | Português  |
| `nl` | Nederlands |
| `sv` | Svenska    |
| `da` | Dansk      |
| `no` | Norsk      |
| `pl` | Polski     |

<Tip>Custom button labels (set in end screen configuration) override the language defaults. The locale only affects auto-generated text.</Tip>
